Abstract (EN)
Modeling ? activity lessons, which function as Art Education in the School for the Blind, aim at enabling the students to develop appreciation for art and aesthetics. This study has been conducted in order to determine the contribution of Modeling ? activity lessons to the aesthetic appreciation enjoyed by the students attending School for the Blind. The study group of this research consists of 74 students attending 6th, 7th and 8th grades of the Primary School for the Blind of the Ministry of Education, located in Ankara. In order to collect data in this research, a triple grading scale Data Collection Form was prepared by investigator. In order to conduct Data analysis, f values, percentage figures and arithmetical means were used. In order to conduct Data analysis, f values, percentage figures and arithmetical means were used. While correlation test was applied in order to look into the difference between the views; t test and variance analysis was used to determine whether or not there existed a meaningful difference in terms of gender, grade, degree of sight ability, and the school.The students? views regarding between Modeling-Activity Lessons and their aesthetical appreciation finding an meningful relationship. The students? views regarding Modeling-Activity Lessons and their aesthetical appreciation revealed some differences among the factors such as gender, grade, and the school however degree of sight ability did not present any difference.Depending on this study developed that content of this lesson re-drafted in a fashion as to serve the pre-determined goals and the teachers of this lesson provided some internal-training in way to proposals.
