Abstract (EN)

As being one of the daily living habits, the 'shopping' concept is usually discussed from a non-disabled perspective. However, the act of shopping for disabled people is one of the most important problems for their lives and remain to be solved. Among these problems, especially the retail shops are not compatible for disabled people. In general, disabled people have issues about finding the product they need, learning the price and the final date of the product, and of course a clear walk on the venue. This paper aims to propose a better and efficient shopping experience for the blind people while targeting the easy, cheap and sustainable design solutions based on the communication and design principles.
