Sample applications of teaching acquisitions about graphic designing in visual arts lesson curriculum

The aim of this research is to make sample implementations about the acquisitions of graphic designing in updated Visual Arts Curriculum. Depending on this aim, it is intended to make students implement the acquisitions about Graphic Designing in Curriculum and detect problems and offer solutions. Qualitative interview technique was used in the research and in different class grades, sample implementations were done which are related to the acquisitions in Graphic Designing Curriculum in Visual Arts Lesson. This qualitative interview technique was made in 2018-2019 academic year with neutral detected 28 Secondary School Visual Arts Teachers who are officially serving in Samsun National Education Directorate. Original data was examined and construed according to content analyze. In accordance the data gained from interview forms, it is understood that The Visual Arts Curriculum wasn't well apprehended by teachers, and most of the teachers weren't literate about the program and they commented it differently from the curriculum content. As a result, some arguments; such as insufficient lesson hours, parents' negative point of view towards the lesson, and physical facilitation of schools, affects the implementation progress of the lesson negatively. According to these solutions, it is recommended that This curriculum should be introduced to Visual Arts Teachers through workshops. And also these workshops should be done among Visual Arts coteries both at the end and beginning of a every academic year in every city.
