Abstract (EN)

Communication is always an important place in human life. This importance, together with technology, enables the development of communication systems and the expansion of their usage areas. Increasing usage areas of today's communication systems also increases the importance of new communication systems. An example of these new communication systems is visible light communication systems (VLC). VLC systems enable the light source used for illumination to be used for information transfer. VLC, which emerged as a new communication system, is being developed together with the technology and it can be used in many fields. One of the areas of usage is seen as indoor positioning systems (IPS). The use of lighting means, which are considered as the basic need in closed areas, for communication, shows that it can be used to determine the location. Providing information transfer with VLC systems as well as locating indoors shows that this system can be used in different functions in different areas. In this thesis, the usage and usage areas of VLC systems, indoor positioning system, routing or finding paths through the receivers and transmitters which have been determined are carried out. It has been seen how these studies will provide convenience to people and how VLC systems can be used in many areas of our lives by developing them in different fields.
