Abstract (EN)

In this study, firstly 3-acetyl-7-hydroxy coumarin compound was synthesized and as a result of the reaction of this compound with methacryloyl chloride, a new methacrylate monomer with coumarin side group was prepared. The homopolymer of monomer and a serie of copolymer were prepared with commercial methylmethacrylate monomer in different ratios. Free radical polymerization technique was used as the polymerization method. Structure characterization of the obtained monomers and polymers was performed using FT-IR, 1H-13C NMR spectroscopic techniques. The surface morphologies of the composites were analyzed by SEM analysis. The polymer/graphene composites were prepared at different ratio. TGA analysis technique was used to determine the pure states of polymers and thermal stability of their composites and compared with each other. The dielectric behavior of the composites was analyzed as a function of frequency with an impedance analyzer and correlated with graphene ratios. The abrasion tests of pure polymer and graphene composites were performed on a pin-on-disc wear device and compared with each other.
