Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, a relationship is established between graphic design, which primarily organizes infographics for public information dissemination, and veri sanatı, which offers an aesthetic experience alongside conveying information to the public. This relationship prompts inquiries into whether there is a connection between the graphic language of infographics and veri sanatı's methods of displaying information and transmitting data to the audience. The study seeks answers to questions such as: What are the graphic language features in veri sanatı's data presentation? While examining these aspects, the thesis briefly outlines the characteristics and auxiliary elements of infographics. Through literature review and document analysis, 10 veri sanatı artists were selected, and their works were meticulously analyzed within the context of the graphic language rules and auxiliary elements mentioned in the thesis. In this context, it was observed that the representation styles of the 10 examined artists' works differ from one another. Thus, while various instances of veri sanatı, a domain with a place in contemporary art, align with the presentation styles associated with graphic design, each artist was found to create works with a unique style.
