Abstract (EN)
This study which is conducted on application basis and aims at devising new teaching strategies and performing a healthy language teaching, determining hardships faced in Turkish language for those students who come from Asian Turkish Republics for the purpose of studying at universities. This study, after the students language level is understood, puts forward the necessity that materials should be prepared by taking the similarities and differences into consideration and that the teachers be well-educated and prepared on these subjects. For this reason, in our thesis, we emphasize the need to know the differences of phonetic, morphologic, syntactic among our dialects, the changes in meaning and alphabet differences. Otherwise, we encounter that students cannot learn Turkish as well as a result of the wrong transfers they do from their own dialects. Our thesis also puts forward that, the difficulties in getting used to the new conditions and environment should also be considered for the 17 or 18 year old teenagers. Also, it states that the activities done in language teaching should be prepared according to age groups and psychological conditions of the students.
