Abstract (EN)
In 3 dimensional numerical analysis of stone columns, it is difficult and troublesome to model all stone columns built in the field. Therefore, there is a need for 2 dimensional matching methods which are easier to implement and can reflect the group behavior of stone columns. In this thesis, matching methods developed to analyze stone columns under 2 dimensional conditions were investigated. In order to demonstrate the applicability and reliability of these methods, different stone column problems were applied in numerical analysis and compared with the results of 3 dimensional numerical analysis and field measurement. As a result of this research, it is seen that these matching methods provide important advantages and advantages to project engineers.
