Abstract (EN)
In this study AISI 304 stainless steel were coated with stellite 6 + FeTİ, FeB, FeW, FeMo superalloys hardfacing materials by using tungsten inert gas welding (GTA) techniques. One layer of a cobalt base alloy was hardfaced on to the steel plates. Appropriate samples were taken from the hardfaced materials and then the structures of samples were investigated experimentally. Hardfaced samples were investigated by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDS, X-ray analyses (XRD), microhardness and macrohardness measurements. It was seen that the microstructures and the microhardness of the deposited layer sand the main materials were affected from the coating process.
