Abstract (EN)

With the rapid development in semiconductor technologies, the use of electronic devices has become widespread today. The electronic components used in these devices are power quality degraders, as well as they are affected by this poor power quality. Although most devices have protection at the power level, power quality disruptive effects such as sudden pulses and harmonics in the network can damage these devices. Measurements and evaluations of power quality parameters in electrical power systems are carried out in accordance with the requirements specified in the international IEC 61000-4-30 standard. Power generation systems such as wind, solar power plants connected to the interconnected system as micro-networks today can also create power quality problems on the network. With the recent building of smart grid infrastructures, quick solutions for these types of problems will be available , consumers will be able to purchase energy from high quality energy suppliers. For this purpose, a transfer switch is designed using the LabVIEW ™ program, which switches according to the power quality parameters of the energy supply points located in the interconnected system. Experimental voltage and current values from selected network sources are transferred to the program designed in LabVIEW ™ environment. The transfer switch selected the network which is the best according to the power quality parameters specified in IEC 61000-4-30 standard. In addition, so as to determine the reference power quality parameters according to the load type is also given as an option to the users by using the developed program.
