Abstract (EN)

Electrical energy is one of the indispensable elements of human life in daily life. Today, developing technology, population growth has made innovations in electrical energy, which is quite above the average for short times. In addition to this, most of the fossil origin; The decrease in energy resources such as natural gas, coal and petroleum made it important to use electrical energy efficiently. Fluctuations in demand for electrical energy occur due to the inclusion of new products in the system with the developing technology, the use of electrical devices with low efficiency and consumer preferences. Increasing electrical energy demands and the use of low-efficiency electrical devices cause unbalanced load of the network, the formation of low load factor and increase in losses in the network. For these reasons, not only on the production and service provider side; At the same time, some solutions were needed for consumption and users. These solutions, which are named as Demand Side Management (DSM) methods, cover many direct or indirect methods of changing the usage profiles of consumers according to the benefits of the network. The aim of this thesis is to encourage consumers to consume less power by changing their electricity consumption habits, and to shift energy use to off-peak hours in order to flatten the demand curve. Thus, it will be ensured that the frequency value is kept at the nominal level by ensuring the balance between supply and demand.
