Özet (EN)

Citizenship is one of the concepts that philosophers have pondered most during the history of philosophy. In the context of belonging to a state and nation, citizenship has been handled in many ways and caused philosophical debates. In general, citizenship rights and responsibilities are discussed. Of course, these debates have started to emerge in different ways due to changing conditions. Our aim in this study is to show how citizenship leads to discussions on the axis of rights and responsibilities. For this, we will construct our work especially on liberalism and republican approaches. More specifically, we will focus on Benjamin BARBER's critique of liberal citizenship and his strong democracy and strong democratic citizenship.
