The family business in Gülten Dayıoğlu's novels

Family, which is the smallest unif of society is as old as human history. It's a social bond, that establishes the indiviluals bond with society and ensures its contination. When we give a look to societ belief salues, social economic differences, cultural richness etc it is seen that the focal point passes from the cultural family. Based on the changes of the concept of family axis in pre islamic and post Islamic societies, it is konown that some sesious changes have taken place. Along with the changes it has experienced, the family continues to be one of the basic institutions is maintaining the social, cultural and social economic existence of the social structure. All changes and devolopments in societyare reflectedin family life. In tihs context, family and society are enseperable from each other. In this study, Gülten Dayıoğlu is an author who includes the family business theme in her novels. Gülten Dayıoğlu is the story teller mother of 3 generetions, who took her place in Turkish children's literature. In this study, concept such as junction of family structure, relations between parents, children grandparents, relatives neigbors economic situation and expatriate and theer effect on the changes and transformation onn social life on the family institution were examined.
