Abstract (EN)

In this study, parallel to the current level and the importance of nanomaterials, the basic knowledge of new nanotechnology techniques, especially the preparation of nanosilver, its characterization, properties and application areas are given. The synthesis, crystallization and structural analysis of precursor compounds used for the preparation of nanosilver were made. A new type of pink silver oxalate crystals encountered during the preparation of silver oxalate (Ag2C2O4) has been investigated whether it is a new polymorph structure. Opposite to the known silver oxalate structure, the synthesized new crystals are colored, in other words, they have light absorption in the visible range and this indicates the reduction of HOMO-LUMO band energy. The structure of crystals and the particles was investigated using optical microscope, FE-SEM, XRD, FT-IR and TEM analysis. As a result of photochemical decomposition of a new kind of pink colored Ag2C2O4 crystals, the formation of 5-50 nm nanosilver particles was observed using the TEM microscope. Keywords: nanotechnology, nanomaterials, silver oxalate, nano silver, photochemical decomposition.
