Abstract (EN)

In this study; they have been investigated effect of limestone fillers to compressive strength and consistency of concrete. There are two limestones that having different granulometry and also obtained by sieving and grinding. The two limestones have been included 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% by mass of cement in mix. The fine grained limestone material added in the concrete mix has been substitutioned by aggregate. Material taken Harsit Stream in Gumushane from is used as aggregate. Amount of the aggregate consisted by fine limestone and river material, cement and water kept same for in concrete mix.Slump test have made to determine the consistency of fresh concrete. The samples of concrete have been hold 14, 28, 42 and 56 days in water. After that, the samples have been experimented to compression test.In the end of this study; while the amount of fine grained limestone is increased, the level of slump has decreased, the plastic-fluid consistency of concrete has turned into plastic form and also the compressive strength has increased. More specifically when the amount of fine limestone is 15%, the strength of concrete has reached maximum value and also when it is made 20%, the strength has showed a decrease. It has been seen that the compressive strength has increased depending on ages of samples and unit mass.Key Words: Separated limestone, ground limestone, limestone blended concrete, consistency of fresh concrete, compressive strength of concrete, additive rate.
