Abstract (EN)
Türkiye ranks first in terms of production of some non-wood forest products. One of the most valuable of these products is linden. Most of the linden production is met from Bursa and Yalova provinces where their ecological demands are very suitable. Bursa Regional Directorate of Forestry has a rich ecological diversity. This richness of our economy, forest public relations which makes significant contributions to the linden, it has naturally suitable areas to grow. The linden tree is used as an industrial wood and as a flower. In addition to the social, cultural and aesthetic functions of linden forests, the contribution of linden flower production to the economy of Bursa cannot be underestimated. In order to continue to benefit are required protection and development of forests, increasing the potential of linden flowers, raising awareness of the local people in production and utilization. In order to establish pure linden forests which can be obtained more efficient and high quality flowers in areas suitable for ecology first of all natural populations should be screened and the flower quality should be determined. In addition, it is necessary to establish linden plantations with the seedlings to be obtained by clonal means. Due to the difficulties encountered in the production resources, the production of seedlings through grafting has constituted the subject of the project. Besides, different grafting methods and grafting studies were carried out at different times. In the study; It was determined that the highest grafting time was 20 March for the scion and chip grafting applied at 10 different times between 20 March and 20 September. In addition, 57% of scion grafting and 29% of chip grafting were achieved. In the T bud grafting method, the application could not be performed due to the unavaible raising of rootstock bark.
