Abstract (EN)
Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology is a new data communication technology based on using light as a carrier signal, which does not require a special transmission medium other than the air environment and enables high-speed data communication. It is considered as a solution that will meet the need for high speeds and reliability, cost-effectively, by overcoming the limited and paid bandwidth restrictions in RF (Radio Frequency) communication. Studies in this field are based on VLC (Visible Light Communication), that is a communication technique using the visible light spectrum. However, light sources such as TV, projector, monitor, lighting systems and even daylight have interference effects on VLC. In this thesis, the system design that proposes the use of IR (Infrared) transceiver pairs instead of VLC in Li-Fi systems is studied in order to reduce the effects of environmental disturbance factors. In addition, the system to be used will be examined from various angles and the most suitable IR wavelength will be determined.
