Abstract (EN)

In this study recently developed meta-heuristic optimization techniques; Tree-Seed Algorithm (ATA), Crow Search Algorithm (KAA) and Symbiotic Organisms Search (SOA)'s performances has been investigated by applying on sinusoidal beam and space truss problems. In the optimization of sinusoidal beam, evaluation capacity and design principles are taken into consideration in the Eurocode specification as design constraints. The profile chart for the design of the beam is designed as the design variables of the gap graphic design of the section and sinusoidal beam to be selected. The basic principles in American steel regulation (ASD 89) have taken into account as design variables. Weight optimization of two sinusoidal beams and two space truss systems with performance optimization methods and their performance according to the results of these problems are discussed.
