Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to prepare a 14-week multidimensional contemporary curriculum for The Current and Popular Music Course and to evaluate the curriculum by faculty members who are experts in the field of music education. The research is qualitative regarding curriculum preparation and evaluation processes, and was carried out within the scope of Bloom's taxonomy model. In the preparation process, the descriptive curriculum related to the course was analyzed after the literature review was completed; units, subjects, goals and target behaviour were determined in consideration of the obtained data, and learning-teaching and assessment and evaluation conditions related to subjects have been created. The 14-week multidimensional contemporary curriculum prepared consists of 4 units, 13 subjects, 32 goals, 92 target behaviour, 13 learning-teaching conditions and 13 assessment and evaluation condition samples. Following the completion of the preparation process, the prepared curriculum has been presented to subject matter experts and expert opinions were received through assessment forms designed for all dimensions. As a result of the evaluations of the faculty members, the curriculum design for The Current and Popular Music Course was found to be highly implementable and it is suggested that similar researches can be carried out with the same approach for other courses with a descriptive program.
