Processes of subjective i̇dentity in the context of contemporary art

Subjects of this thesis : to answer to the question of who is the artist of contemporary art environment; to describe the definition of contemporary art and artists; to investigate the factors which force today's artist to produce works, to explore what inspries the creativity of artists and find out what factors may shape today?s artists and the effect of these factors in the formation of contemporary artists with reflections on the work of art. In the first part, by making identity description as being structure or qualification which define the presence of the person and install the meaning to his existence; is dwelled upon the state of awareness come into being jointly with dintinguish the subject himself from the object and the others. It is mentioned briefly about the art activity as being the self knowledge of the artist with knowing the world and is dwelled upon creativity as a process of making, displaying the presence. It is evaluated the understandings of artists/artisan throughout the history of art taking place based on empirical tests, after that, it is attempted to describe the definition of artist based upon the concepts of modern, postmodern. In addition to the concepts of modern and postmodern, it is evaluated the concepts of contemporary and actual which are being used to describe the today?s art, by touching upon the dialog between the curator and the artist, developing additionally to realitionship network in art market, together with changing balances with process of globalization, is attempted to capture a general overview on today?s art. In the second part, it is interrogated the art fact in terms of creativity process, it is evaluated the opinion about the emergence of creative activity. It is evaluated factors that generate the art with the condition the artist in, while upbuilding his personal being and the effects of these conditions that describe himself choosing scope and results on artist and his work.
