Abstract (EN)
Oral culture environment, memory and transmission are concepts that have been going on for years. Thanks to oral culture, many stories, tales, jokes, legends have been passed down from generation to generation. This transmission was done by narrators who underwent certain trainings. Later, thanks to folklorists, these did not only remain in oral culture, but were researched, compiled and written down. This research focuses on a narrator within a family. However, the difference from other narrators is that he is not trained in this tradition, but is a narrator in daily life. This everyday life narrator was described and, the similarities and differences between the professional narrator and the narrator of everyday life were identified in the study. At the same time, since the narratives will be transmitted within the family, determinations were made regarding family folklore. The extent of the listeners' participation in the narration and their influence on the narrator and narratives were revealed. The family of the source person was studied as the listener group. There were changes only in the number of listeners. The research was conducted on the days when the family gathers once a month. The gathering was held at the home of the owner of the day. The home was always used as the venue, only the home environments varied. The effect of space and setting on the narrative was determined. In our research, screening was followed up. The study was conducted through participant observation and interview methods. A semi-structured question form was applied. A voice recorder was used to obtain the data.
