Abstract (EN)
The context of this research is defined as to analyse and compare exterior wall-systems of low-rise residential projects that are designed to meet solar-house standards. The concept of "Solar House", and its historical development are examined in the context of exterior wall-systems. Effective use of these systems, which are used in order to protect or benefit from climate and solar radiation, are investigated throught technical analysis. Wall cross sections of different exterior wall systems are identified that would help designers to choose the right material and system.
