Abstract (EN)
In this study, new organic monomers containing carbazole, cyanoacetic acid, thiophene and furan units as electron donor, electron acceptor and π spacer groups, respectively, were designed and synthesized. Synthesized 2-cyano-3-[5-(9-octyl-9H carbazol-3-yl)-thiophen-2-yl]acrylic acid (1ThCzSA), 3-(5-{6-[5-(2-carboxy-2-cyano-vinyl)thiophen-2-yl]-9-octyl-9H-carbazol-3-yl}-thiophen-2-yl)-2-cyano-acrylic acid (2ThCzSA), 2-cyano-3-[5-(9-octyl-9H-carbazol-3-yl)-furan-2-yl]-acrylic acid (1FuCzSA), The structures of 3-(5-{6-[5-(2-carboxy-2-cyano-vinyl)-furan-2-yl]-9-octyl-9H-carbazol-3-yl}-furan-2-yl)-2-cyano-acrylic acid (2FuCzSA) carbazole derived monomers were analyzed by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C-NMR. The structures of the compounds (1ThCzSA, 2ThCzSA, 1FuCzSA, 2FuCzSA) whose structures were characterized by characterization studies were prepared and fabricated Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) with Titan (IV) oxide (TiO2) used as photoanode. Current-voltage (J-V) measurements of all BDGPs were performed in a solar simulator under AM 1.0 G (100 mW/cm2) lighting conditions. Open circuit voltage (Voc), short circuit current (Isc), filling factor (FF) and power conversion efficiency (%n) values that affect solar cell performance were measured. The synthesized monomers; 1ThCzSA, 2ThCzSA and their copolymers with carbazole were synthesized on indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) surface using the method of cyclic voltammetry (CV). Electrochemical syntheses were carried out in two different solvent mixtures of dichloromethane:acetonitrile (DCM:ACN) containing tetrabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate (TBAPF6) and tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TEABF4). The films obtained on the ITO surface were characterized by electrochemical method. In addition, the surface morphological properties of these films were investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The redox parameters, electroactive properties and electrostability of the films were investigated by alternating voltammetry method and their suitability for use as electrode active materials in solar cells was investigated.
