Raphidiopter's and Neuropter's (Insecta:Neuropterida) Southwest Anatolia

11 RAPHIDIOPTER'S AND NEUROPTER'S (INSECTA; NEUROPTERIDA) SOUTH WEST ANATOLIA (Ph. D. Thesis) Savaş CANBULAT GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, August 2003 ABSTRACT By the studies in South-west Anatolia (Antalya, Burdur, İsparta, Denizli, Aydın, Muğla) 529 specimens belonging to order Raphidioptera and 2768 specimens belonging to order Neuroptera were collected between April- September in 2000-2001 and between April-June in 2002. As a result of the identifications 13 species of 4 genera belonging to the 2 families of order Raphidioptera, 82 species of 45 genera belonging to the 10 families of the order Neuroptera were determined. Synonyms, morphology, phenologies, ecologies and distributions of 95 species determined from the research area were given. Distributions of the each species were given in two categories as distributions in Turkey and World. Among the determined taxa genus Nothochrysa Mclachlan, 1868 and N. fulviceps (Stephens, 1836) belonging to the family Chrysopidae and the species Micromus angulatus (Stephens, 1836) belonging to the family Hemerobiidae, Macronemurus amoenus (Hölzel, 1972) belonging to the family Myrmeleontidae and Deleproctophylla dusmeti Navas, 1914 belonging to the family Ascalaphidae are new records for the Turkish Fauna.
