Abstract (EN)
In this work, cementing operations made in oil wells located in the Southeast Anatolian Region are investigated. The region is the richest of oil sources in Turkey. These operations are critical not only for life duration but also for production capability of a well. Many kind of operation and their methods such as casing cementing, plug cementing, deep well cementing, and squeeze cementing are criticized in thesis. This paper includes real field as well as experimental data evaluated to apply at real oil wells. Investigations are focused mostly in Batman, Mardin, Siirt, and Diyarbakır provinces. The mentioned provinces have oil producer fields. For a reliable investigation, the field data is updated and the application of latest technology is proved. As a result, the cementing operations made at region are researched with up-to-date data and the possible problems are determined as well as several recommendations given for solving such problems.
