Today?s position of tile making and ceramic in Kütahya

Aim of this study is to examine Today?s Position Of Tile Making And Ceramic In Kütahya. Our study consists of five parts.In the first part; Geographic and history of Kütahya are stated. To understand today?s position of Kütahya ceramic and tile making as needed, we should take its historical development into account. This is the reason why in the second part of our thesis, we take Kütahya ceramic and tile making into consideration in the course of historical development.In the third part; we examined Kütahya ceramic and tile making through technical and technological improvements and its creation phases.In the fourth part; we looked mentioned about people those who contributed as masters, tile artists, scientists to Kütahya ceramic and tile making.We concluded our paper with suggestions, conclusions and practice pictures.Although our study is divided into five parts, its subject could be evaluated as two sections; before republic period and republic period.
