A view to the concepts of space, time, permeability within the scope of abstractive tendencies in today's art of painting

The art of painting has produced different images that introduce itself in every age. The intellectual foundations that originate these images have also changed along with the social realities. Among the disciplines, the image shows characteristics such resemblance and evocation rather than certain partnerships and it is at the center of every discipline discourse. The interpretation of the image in different disciplines has given us an idea of what its will be. The perception of time-space that have changed and transformed from the past to the present and recent aesthetic paradigms are not independent from the social dynamics and ideologies of the period. Due to the phenomenones of time and space has a extensive history, they have been discussed in disparate disciplines. All of them took the subject from different approaches in theory and practice. The mental seekings that abstract art was also effective in, went beyond the canvas after a certain period of time and it were effective in different forms of expression. The space, which was moved from two dimensions to the third dimension, later added the fourth dimension to art with the effect of the concept of time. Abstraction works, which are basically associated with act of drawing, have removed some characteristic features through the new material with the perception that changes over time, while bringing some to the fore. Abstraction, which goes beyond the act of drawing in formatting, has enabled the representation of the form to be used in the most efficient way. Abstraction is the artist's act of creating a new world. It is regarded as the name of an attitude in the art of painting. Abstract painting is accepted as a trend in art history. When we consider abstraction in terms of perception theories, we see that abstraction is not defined only with a formal attitude, in this part, sensation and thought play an important role in the creation process. The artist has filtered what he perceives in the external world through mental and spiritual filters and he continued his expression with a different reality, far from naturalist attitude through abstraction. The concept of permeability has been discussed extensively in the plastic arts in the context of the transparency of the surface. With the new materials added to visual expressions gaining importance, the concept of permeability has become a topic of discussion upon the association of the material. Due to the freedom of expression that has gained interdisciplinary importance over this changing art style, a border blur has been experienced between the trends and with this, blurring of borders has also been referred to as permeability.
