Abstract (EN)
In today's conditions and in unpredictably growing cities, perpetual concretion, transformation, changes and reconstruction, forced displacements causes micro and macro social segregations in communal living. The suffocative concretion and individual's practical interaction in public and personal areas are the main ideas of this study.By the urban transformations, the exposure of income problems, homogenisation, embellishment, renovations and the rehabilitations that are practiced to places, are increasingly continuing in time. The reconstruction in towns and cities in daily life, removes the identity of the urban life and also makes the individual imprisoned and causes to draw new boundary places. Those boundary places lead to some empirical notions by limiting the public network like; anxiety, worry, uneasiness, social segregation, alienation ...etc. The main axis of this study is to explain social segregations in city context and new borders that individuals created with the places in art context. The second part includes the problems which are caused by the social segregations and place and individual interactions by examining the interventions to individuals' living space. The third part includes tracing the place, public areas, private areas, secrecy, the social media surveillance and supervision and the dialogues of artist from different geographies and different time zones. The last part includes the examination of the city and the dimensions of social relations, and also (theme related) interdisciplinary works of Chinese and South Korean artists, such as Cao Fei, Sim Chi Yin, Yang Yongliang and Do Ho Suh.Key Words: Urban, Urban Transformation, Spatial Segregation, Social Segregation, Border, Contemporary Art.
