Abstract (EN)

When we examine how the jewelry tradition emerged, we actually need to conduct an in-depth research that goes back to the beginning of human history. In this journey, which begins with cave paintings, the jewelry tradition emerges after body paintings. Protection, magic, status, ornament; Regardless of its purpose, jewelry is a piece of literature tha tcontains cluesabout the past. Although the spiritual beliefs that are in fluential in the jewelry tradition have under gone many changes; Some of the mare stil valid today. When we examine today's jewelry, we find common symbols in many different cultures and geographies; It is an indication that symbolism of faith continues to be used in jewelry. All of these jewelries, produced with gold, silver, bronze and glass materials and containing different forms, actually serve the same belief; just like in primitive societies; It contains the desire to remove evil, to be protected from evil, to call for good and to be good.
