Güven Turan of acisit glance existentialism

Existentialism has affected many works in Turkish and World Literature. This thesis has been prepared in order to show that how excistansialism impacts Güven Turan's poems. Humanity, loneliness, alienation, time, colour, sexuality, death, mirror, freedom, escape and contumacy have been explained in thesis poems. In 1950s in Turkey, several poets have written their poems by influences of Jean Paul Sartre (1908- 1980), Albert Camus (1913-1960), Kierkegaard (1813-1855), Güven Turan is one of these people. Güven Turan also is one of the these poets. Turan's poems who is the poet of 1960 period has been not examined in therms of existancialism, axistantialism.In first section, the content and history of existencecialism have been mentioned. In second section the poet Güven Turan's life and literary sides have been explained. In the third section, conceptions about existencialism have been explained in his poems. It has been observed that the poems of Güven Turan had an importent place in existentialism.
