Abstract (EN)

In the process of research, the process of developing ideas, creation and development process starts with the determination of the related articles. The creative way of thinking is a learned and evolving acquisition. This way of thinking is important in terms of developing ideas and developing a product. Links between visual and written communication has got highly importance on products or ideas. The instutitons which give education on the Visual Arts department are significant in terms of providing this. Information design products, which we see around us, need to be renewed in the same way and adapt to our lives with evolving technology. In this case, purpose of the this study is to examine the Information Design education process and how the projects can be implemented within the scope of Information Map Design. The study, in which the method of case study is used, is conducted in 4 weeks of Arts and crafts teaching program's course that was open in spring term of 2018-2019 academic year at the Department of Fine Arts Education at Anadolu University. In the research, semi-structured interviews, researcher and student diaries, audio and video recordings, semi-structured interviews were used as data collection tools. The data of the study were analyzed by thematic analysis method. Within the scope of the findings of the study, three main themes were reached 'the importance of visual communication', 'the education process' and 'the applicability in education'.
