The adequacy to of thetraining seminar for candidate pilgrims

In this study, it has been tried to be researhed hajj seminars participating in pilgrim candidates and regulated by muftuluks. The Study was applied using the survey technique on the basis of 455 pilgrim candidates paticipating in 2009 year-hajj seminars regulated by Kocaeli, Sakarya and Tekirdağ province muftuluks. İn this way statistical processings of data collected were done SPSS using computer statistical software package. In study, it has been tried to be researhed the some factors? effects (sex, age, social environment, demographic characteristics such as education and occupational status) on pilgrimage worship and pilgrimage education. The data obtained from the sample group is being tried to analyzed with the Chi Square technique and to determine whether there has been significant. As the level of significance p <0.05 was adopted.In conclusion of study, it is observed that increasing the woman?s tendency of going to hajj unlike previous years, The pilgrim candaidates are concentrated in middle and older age groups and retired people an housewifes too much space in occupational groups, The higher the education level of pilgrims has increased participation in seminars and gives more importance to pilgrimage education.İt is observed that Hajj seminars responded to expectations of pilgrim candidates very largely but deficiencied have been identified in some important issues. İn this deficiencies it should be mentioned that the lack of study about providing motivation at participition in seminars and the importance of training required to assist the element is not shown A major handicap of pilgrimage seminars heve been seen by attendees the lack of viable program and plan about pilgrimage seminars at the end of the Seminars, it were found to be in good condition Hajj pilgrims? information about the size of the worship than about the practical aspects of pilgrimage
