Abstract (EN)

The anticipation about the components for the musical analysis and the composing style analysis and its necessity was explained in the introduction of this thesis. The aim and content of the thesis, which emphasizes on Hacı Arif Bey and the makam of Kürdili Hicazkar was stated under the heading of aim and scope. The methodology used in the analysis was stated under the heading of the method. In the first part of the thesis, the life of the composer Hacı Arif Bey is explained under the heading of "Composer Hacı Arif Bey". "The period, which he lived in, and his musical influence in his time", "his education and the discovery of his talent", "professional and family life" , "the reflection of his life on his artworks", "the personal relation with the poets of the lyrics", was elaborately discussed as subheadings of the "Composer Hacı Arif Bey". In the second part, The Kürdili Hicazkar artworks of Hacı Arif Bey in the repertoire were firstly analyzed under the headings of "the analysis of his artworks". "Hacı Arif Bey's implementation of the Kürdili Hicazkar makam and the properties of the melody", "Hacı Arif Bey's implementation of the musical genre", "Hacı Arif Bey's implementation of the usul and the vezin" were studied and discussed in detail under the heading of "general evaluation". Under the heading of the conclusion, the findings obtained from the studied data were presented. In this study, the suggested methods were applied on the artworks and the various results were obtained. The composing parameters like usul, vezin, güfte, makam, tür ve biçim and their relation and implementation in the artworks of the composer were studied.
