One hundred hadiths (propetic traditions) in the hadith literatüre and the work of Halveti Muhyi "Gul-i Sad Barg"(a critical editon)

Hundred Hadiths are hadith fascicles that are compiled through a selection from basic hadith sources. There are few of them. In addition to the Arabic hundred hadiths, there are also Turkish hundred hadith books. These works appeared immediately after the Turkish forty hadith books and are similar to them in terms of their compilation. The majority of Turkish hundred hadith books are poetical. One of these works is the "Gul-i Sad-Barg" of Halvatî Muhyî. Halvatî Muhyî lived in the XVI. century, when the Ottoman Empire was at its peak in terms of its power. He's not a professional traditioner. Gul-i Sad-Barg is a work of reconciliation. The short, concise hundred hadiths selected in this work have been decreed as poetically. It is estimated that it is written for the general public. The work, which deals with moral issues that apply to today, is literary, moral and didactic. In accordance with the original copy of the work, which could be determined four manuscripts, it is annotated in Ottoman form of Turkish language with Arabic letters. They are also pronounced in Turkish in the Latin alphabet. In addition, the sources and degrees of soundness of the hadiths in this work were determined by annotating them. Thus, this literary, moral and didactic work, which delivered the concise words of the Prophet (sas) to the people, was unearthed and contributed somewhat to the purpose of benefiting today's people from our ancient culture.
