Abstract (EN)

Since the early times, various discussions have occurred among the Islamic schools about the definition, limits and scope of faith. Ahl al-Hadith (The Adherents of Hadith) have participated in these discussions with their books. Kutub al-Sittah (The Six Books) is also one of the most important them. In this study, it has been tried to determine reflections of faith discussions in Kutub al-Sittah. In order to determine the existence and absence of faith discussions, we have researched Ahl al-Hadith's opinions related to faith as possible as from their books. Their opinions associated with this issue have been discussed under eight headings as the definition of faith, the relationship faith and act, the relationship faith and Islam, the increase and decrease of faith, the gradation in faith, the reservation in (the expressing of) faith, great sin and braches of faith. After that, Kutub al-Sittah's narrations have been examined in compliance with these eight titles. As a result of the research, the reflections of faith discusses have been seen both in the Kutub al-Sittah's chapter names and in chapter headings or in muhaddiths's personal opinions. In this way, it has been obtained that narrations were interpreted with Ahl al-Hadith perspective in the faith discussions. Keywords: Ahl al-Hadith, Faith, Act, Kutub al-Sittah, Murji'a
