Fiqh evaluation of the interpretations of the hadiths about the family in the work "Hadislerle İslam"

The main subject of the thesis is the evaluation of the hadiths in terms of family law in the Islamic work with the Hadiths compiled by the members of the commission established by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Therefore, in the study, issues related to family law are given in general terms. Then, the interpretations, analyzes and preferences of the hadiths related to family law mentioned in the Hadislerle İslam were examined. It has been tried to determine which hadiths the preferences put forward by the commission are based on. This study consists of two parts. In the first part, what the family law means in general is discussed. Afterwards, the pre-marriage phases that is, asking for a girl, getting engaged, etc. topics are covered. In addition, marriage and related issues are discussed. In the relevant section, the types of marriage, the dowry and alimony that the woman deserves with the marriage contract, the provision of the marriage and how many people can be married are mentioned.
