Abstract (EN)
The recent cost increases of traditional reinforced concrete building systems, the inability to implement the designed project as desired in field installations, the length of the construction process, adverse effects from weather conditions, ETC. The spread of light steel structures. Light steel structural elements are systems of cold-formed (CFS) beams, roofs, columns, and other elements. The number and type of beam-column connections are gradually increasing in these building systems (housing projects). For this study, 36 specimens were prepared and classified according to the thickness and aspect ratios of light steel angles in CFS beam-column connections. The prepared specimens, beams, and columns were connected with self-tapping screws, and the effect of shear force on the beam-column connection was examined. As a result of the experiments, it was observed that as the thickness of the cold-formed steel angle connection increased, the load-carrying capacity increased, and the aspect ratio (L/D) of the angle increased, buckling errors occurred in the cold-formed steel angle.
