Abstract (EN)
Halfeti (Center) Transition Periods consists of four parts. In the first part of the work, brief history, introduction, location, vegetation, climate, population, agriculture, economy, transportation and administrative structure of the city of Halfeti region were given. In the second part, it is considered that this transitional period, which is considered as the beginning of the transition periods (prenatal, postnatal, postnatal), evaluates the common and similar practical applications, rituals, inclusion of Turkish Folk Culture and Halfeti Folk Culture, In the third part, it is evaluated whether this transition period which is examined as weddings (before the wedding, after the wedding, after the wedding) from the transition periods includes different and similar practical applications and rituals in Turkish Folk Culture and Halfeti Folk Culture, In the fourth chapter, the most recent stages of transition periods (pre-death, post-death, post-death) were examined and it was evaluated whether this transition period included similarities and different practices and rituals in Turkish Folk Culture and Halfeti Folk Culture. As a result of the work done, it was determined that the ancient Turkish beliefs and practices of Halfeti region continued its existence in the region in a vivid manner. During the preparation of the work, the written sources, particularly the studies conducted in the field of Turkish Folk Literature, included natural observations, interviews, questionnaire techniques and oral sources in books, articles and symposiums.
