Transcript and analysis Of Halil Nimetullah's Philosophy Of Revolution

Nimetullah Halil Öztürk, working as a lecturer at Darulfunun(Ottoman Universtiy) during the collapsing period of the Ottoman Empire and at the beginning of the foundation of Turkish Republic, is an educator and intellectual personality. Öztürk has a work named "İnkılabın Felsefesi- the Philosophy of the Revolution" in which he investigates the gist of the Turkish Revolution. In the work, the author's effort to introduce the renovations made during the Republic and the core and necessity of Turkish Revolution is quite clear. The work was published before alphabet reform and don't republished after it. The purpose of this study is to bring the Philosphy of the Revolution to history studies. In the introduction part of the study, Republic Period and reforms, in the First Part, Öztürk's life, occupation, opinions and works are expressed. In the Second Part, information about the book and its translation to Latin alphabet is given. In the Third Part, the detailed investigation on the content of the book is given. The study ends with the Result which includes a general evalution.
