Abstract (EN)

Elements of folk culture which form most of the cultural legacy and kept alive by oral tradition, must be observed with a strict disciplinary view to transfer future generations in a healty manner.Anatolia, where has been a homeland by many civilization for many centuries, composed most of it?s knowledge of culture by public physcians. ?Ocaklı? term in Turkish, who are the most important performers of public physicians, shaped their purpose, life styles, existence and activities differently, after the acceptance of Islam by Turks. Traditional Public Physiotherapist?, which is stil continuing to apply and is an important and valuable subject for research of public science. While doing this research, interviews between women ?Traditional Public Physiotherapist? of Araban district of Gaziantep province are used.KeyWords:1. Folk2. Physcians3.
