A comparative study on public books

This study is called a Comparative Research on Public Books. The study primarily focused on the public books and the history and features of the public books. Afterwards, information about the studies on folk books was presented. In the second part of the study, it was examined in order to strengthen the seminar courses at Marmara University Faculty of Theology, and other works of "Classical Turkish Religious Texts" which were prepared by Fevziye Abdullah Tansel, the other works of the study such as "Mevlid-i Nebevi" and "Leylȃ and Mecnûn" are in the form and content of public books. In the last part of the study, it is tried to find out whether the book as "Classical Turkish Religious Texts" is a book of the people by using the works of "Mevlid-i Nebevi" and "Leylȃ and Mecnûn". Our aim is to contribute to the scientific studies in this field by putting forth a new research on folk books and to bring out such works in the corner of the coast and to introduce new products of Turkish culture in the scientific platform.
