Evaluation of public library services from user's perspective: The case of Van Provincial Public Library

In this study, the improvement and development of the existing services, the diversification of the activities carried out, and the changes created by the innovative concept within the framework of the service philosophy of today's public libraries, innovations, positive and negative factors on the user, increasing the library services for the importance of public libraries and their sustainability through the Van Provincial Public Library Example. It is aimed to examine and deal with the process in the context of the process and to reveal the effect of the process on the satisfaction of the user.The sample of the study carried out in this context consists of the library management and 110 users working in the Van Provincial Public Library. The descriptive method was used in the study, and face-to-face interview (management-personnel) and survey techniques were used to relate the present situation with the aim of the thesis. SPSS 20 program was used in the analysis of the information obtained. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of qualitative data in the study. At the end of the research, it was concluded that the Van Provincial Public Library made great efforts to remain innovative in the institutional sense by taking into account the basic dynamics that shape the world of information, especially information and information technologies, this effort caused confusion among users and there was a continuous improvement in terms of user satisfaction. judgment has been reached.
