Abstract (EN)
In this work, it is aimed to quantify with numerical data what kind of changes may happen by carrying out some tests in order to ascertain the effect of Folk Dances on the sense of rhythm, body composition and reaction time. 25 students, between the ages of 15-18 who perform Folk Dances took part in this work.Various rhythm forms were asked to the students and some measurements were carried out for the measurement of the sense of rhythm. According to the sense of rhythm testing results of students who perform Folk Dances, it was seen that there was a significant difference between the points before experiment and the points after experiment. It can be said that performing folk dances is effective in enhancing the sense of rhythm of students
