Abstract (EN)

In this study, using tube dilution method of essential and fixed oils obtained from nigella sativa, Prunus Dulcis, Salvia hispanica, Laurus Nobilis L., Hypericum Perforatum and Cocos Nucifera plants, Staphylococcus aureus from Gram positive bacteria, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa antimicrobial activities against it have been evaluated. When we look at the results obtained in the study, it had different effects on E.coli. It showed antibacterial effect at the rates of Prunus Dulcis; 25 µl / ml, salvia hispanica; 12,5 µl / ml, nigella sativa 25 µl / ml, laurus nobilis; 25 µl / ml, cocos nucifera; 12,5 µl / ml, hypericum perforatum; 25 µl / ml. It showed antibacterial effect at the rates of on S.aureus, Prunus Dulcis; 25 µl / ml, salvia hispanica; 25 µl / ml, nigella sativa; 0,21 µl / ml, laurus nobilis; 12,5 µl / ml, cocos nucifera; 12,5 µl / ml, hypericum perforatum; 25 µl / ml. It was effective at the rate of on P.auregunosa, prunus Dulcis; 25 µl / ml, salvia hispanica; 25 µl / ml, nigella sativa; 25 µl / ml, laurus nobilis; 25 µl / ml, cocos nucifera; 25 µl / ml, hypericum perforatum; 25 µl / ml. Plants have been shown to have anti-bacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. These results can serve as a guide for selecting plant species that can maximize the likelihood of finding promising compounds responsible for antibacterial activities against bacterial species. Keywords: Nigella Sativa, Prunus Dulcis, Salvia Hispanica, Laurus Nobilis, Antibacterial Effects.
