Abstract (EN)
This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the introduction section. In the second chapter, by introducing some ring classes, some discussion about the polynomial rings and matrix rings will be given. In the third chapter, all the results connected to the rigid rings obtained so far will be examinated in detail. In the fourth chapter, by investigating the relation between the rigid rings and generalized Armendariz rings, some new characterizations will be given for rigid rings.
