Abstract (EN)

The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between the perceived corporate governance level and public relation activities level among the employees of the organizations, and to compare this relationship. Furthermore, the impacts of demographical variables on the percieved corporate governance level and the public relations activities is also aimed to be detected. Accordingly, suggestions will be made to contribute the business practice. In this framework, in the first chapter of the thesis, the concept of corporate governance is defines and explained. Then, in the second chapter, the concept of public relations is given. Finally, at the third chapter of the thesis, the results of an field research on the topic at food sector in Giresun province was put forward. This study includes the results of an field research on the topic of perceived corporate governance and public relations. Accordingly, it was achieved that, the level of perceived public relations is higher than the level of perceived corporate governance. Moreover, there is a statistically significant and positive relationship between perceived corporate governance, and public relations. In addition, the study includes the debates on corporate governance. Finally, this study ends with suggestions about the topic.
