Hamzaname volume 12 (Text-Review-Dictionary)

Hamzanamas developed around heroism of Hz. Hamza, who had an important place in Turkish literature, was originally of Arab origin and entered a new form in Iranian Literature and took its place in Mongolian, Indian, Turkmen, Urdu and Java Literature. In Turkish Literature, Hamzanâmas were written as the 72nd volume by Hamzavî in the 14th century. Hamzanâma are predominantly maleconuous and also contain pieces of verse. This study aims to examine Hamzanâme's 12th volume in detail around Turkish Folk Literature in terms of text and content. This volume is registered in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Library under the number 1497 and consists of 112 leaves. Author of the work in the introduction part of our study which consists of three main sections, In this thesis, after the information about Hamzavî and Turkish Hamzanâmas were given, studies conducted in Turkey were determined. In the introductory part of our study, which consists of three main sections, after giving information about the author Hamzavi and the Turkish Hamzanâmes, the studies carried out in Turkey were determined.Afterwards, the foreign copies of Hamzanamas were briefly mentioned and the researchers tried to draw attention. In our text-centered study, the copy of the work was done. In the first chapter the text is examined and summarized in terms of shape and content. Hamzanamas, one of the first of the narratives of Islamic heroism; These narratives are the source of the motifs included in the epic, folk story, fairy tale, myth and menakıbnâmes. With these features, it was tried to determine the motifs of the 12th volume of the Hamzanâme, which has a large staff, around the Turkish Folk Literature. Second part the 12th volume of Hamzanâme, consisting of 112 foil, was translated. In this article, two other copies of the 12th volume of Hamzanâme were used to criticize the text and the nuances between them were shown with footnotes. At the end of the thesis, an old Turkish and archaic words dictionary, directory of person names and place names were created. Hamzanâmas, which is a transitional work, has a rich narrative power since it is formed in an oral culture environment. It was found that the hamzanâme had common features with the motifs in Dede Korkut Stories and consisted of stories about war, love and humor. Key Words: Folklore, Hamzavi, Hamzanâme, Hz.
