Abstract (EN)

This study, which aims to examine the thoughts of Ebu Ya'la al-Ferrâ, who is an important representative of Hanbali thought, on Haberi adjectives, examines the issue of khabari adjectives and how khabari adjectives are understood and interpreted in theological schools in order to achieve this aim. In addition, in this section, the subject of khabari adjectives in Hanbali thought is examined in order to reveal the limits of al-Farra's thought and its different aspects from those of others. Thus, it will be better understood what al-Ferra's views on khabari attributes are and why he is considered one of the important figures of the Hanbali sect. In the second part, it is focused on how al-Ferra interprets the khabari adjectives. This study is important because it deals with the place of Hanbalism in Salafi tradition and the position of Abu Ya'la al-Ferra in Habali thought for the first time in an independent study. The fact that Abu Yâ'lâ al-Ferrâ's work to determine the contribution of the Hanbali sect to the accumulation of thought and to reveal whether the criticisms directed at al-Ferrâ on the subject of khabari adjectives are valid or not are among the issues that make this study important. In this research, descriptive method will be used. Therefore, the subject of khabar adjectives will be covered through definition, classification, description and explanation. As al-Farra adopts the ta'wîd method of the Salaf, he rejects the ta'wils made about khabari attributes in principle. It makes no difference whether these interpretations come from Mu'tazila, Ash'ariyya or Cehmiye. The reason he is against ta'wîl is that ta'wîl is based on judgments built on conjectures. Azan, on the other hand, does not express certainty in terms of information value. Key Words: Hanbali Thought, al-Farra, Haberi Adjectives, Salafiyya
