Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of the German fairy tale Hansel and Gretel on children and its adaptation to music by Engelbert Humperdinck are discussed. The purpose of each chapter explained is to make structural explanations on the effect of children's opera. In addition, while researching the origin of the tale and the preparation process of the opera, the answers such as how the tale should be connected to the elements of togetherness and what perspective it should have are emphasized.
