Deferral of sentences of imprisonment and its comparison with similar institutions

This study reviews the concepts of "sentence" and "deferral" as subtitles of the main research title, "deferral of sentences of imprisonment" and compares this institution with similar ones in order to provide a useful insight both to the academia and to the practice. At this point, the study focuses on the issues such as; what is sentence? What is deferral? Is it necessary? What are the types of it? What would be the conclusions of the comparison of the deferral of sentences of imprisonment with other institutions? Consequently, the study points out the indispensable nature of the institution of deferral however concludes that it should be necessary to take into consideration of the rights of the victims when actually executing it.
